No sound from CD Player

Hi there,
I have a Teac CD-P255 CD player but no sound. I opened it up and the disc spins, I can access tracks but there's no sound from the audio out or the headphone jack.
any thoughts or advice as to what this could be ?
If it's major, probably not worth reparing right.
