noise on AV receiver when computer is running

Hi.  I have noticed that when my computer is running in the bedroom, and my AV receiver is on in the living room, there is noise coming through the speakers,  but if I switch the computer off, the noise is gone.  Also, when listening to radio, and I switch the TV on,  there is noise on the speakers.

Is this something to be concerned about? Is it just the way the receiver's earth is working,  picking up noise from AC mains? 

Basically just interested why?
