I bought a airtech elite many years ago and have not really used it. But now with the latest heatwave I took it out from storage.
But I feel it's not working right. It does blow out cold air. But what it does is it's switching from aircon mode to normal fan only mode automatically in a continuous loop.
In this ratio
30% of the time aicon mode
70% of the time normal fan mode
Therefore it does not cool the room effectively. I want to go and buy a new Defy portable aicon today. Will I be wasting my money or will it work100% of the time? If it also constantly switches automatically between modes then it will not be worth it to be honest. I want one that will effectively be able to cool the room.
Does it seem that my current one might be defective? Or can I " hack" it someway to stay on aircon mode for longer periods?
