Not a nice discovery

I always run my speakers with their covers on, no its not cause the yellow cones distract me from my TV watching.
On the weekend I popped the covers off my B&W 603 S2's to give everything the once over, this was not part of the plan

The other one has got cracks around the surround so I am guessing its old age, not abuse.

I am dreading the repair/replacement bill
