Having sent many emails regarding firmware that has been deleted from my Audiolab 8200cdp and what is needed to get it going again (custom firmware upgrade board) unit,
nothing, siltch, not a single reply from out local distributors.  :comfort: for the last 6 months.  :ticked:
However John Westlake offered to fix the cdp if I ship it to him, the cost will likely be more than a second hand unit.
In other countries, they are offering free upgrades to the newer firmware for free, and as this is not what I am expecting and willing to pay for the fix, it looks like I am not going to have any luck with their customer service department.
I know its not their fault that the firmware was deleted, but I was hoping for some kind of support in having the problem (unit) fixed, as all that is needed is to re-program the unit, but it looks like I am sitting with a R10K+ doorstop.
Really feeling very disgusted in the way that this is being handled by MADARIN SA.
If they want to be the distributors, they should at least offer some kind of after-sales service.
