I?ve been thinking of my journey looking for better sounding stereo sound and remembered how long it took before I even thought of cable improvement.  At first I was looking for a CD player then speakers  followed by amplifier and long after that learned about cable. First speaker cable , then interconnect and last power cable . Component racks came last.  Thereafter I learned about accessories like anti  vibration , isolation, power recondition/regeneration etc. Then proper speaker placement and room acoustics.  Still discovering more stuff.  Seems a newbie like I was needs some basic advice .  Simply put to choose correct speaker for room , amp to match , source components , cable and speaker position etc basics.  Too often we start by chasing equipment within a budget nd end up spending more without considering cables etc.
