A few months ago I picked up this pair of monitors for little money. Little because they were in a bad state. But I was desperate to own a pair again. I eventually got around to working on them a few days ago. But I was in for a shock: I had no idea was lurking behind those grills!
With a bit of scrubbing they began to look like something decent. But I am concerned that scraping that gunk off the midrange's cone could have damaged it (check the candle wax on the midrange's grill). I'll find out soon enough, I suppose.
