As I mentioned in another thread, I had the priviledge to try out two Nuforce Ref 9SE monoblocs in my setup over the weekend and want to share my impressions.

After I connected the Nuforce monoblocs in place of my Flying Moles, I could hear a difference from the outset. Bass was tighter, but with more slam and vocals became the stuff that dreams are made of. The soundstage appeared to be even deeper and slightly wider. Initially I thought that the Nuforce had a more "forward" sound, but eventually I found that it was because they were digging up so much detail.

I suppose there is a lot more that I can say about the Nuforce Ref 9s, but I honestly don't know enough explicits to describe them(If I did, I would have been an AVSA Reviewer LOL!) Suffice to say, I have not heard so much resolution in my setup as I did over the weekend and if I had the money, I would be strongly tempted to buy them, but at R24K each, its a bit too steep at the moment. :(
