Hi all
So I am finally getting away from renting, and buying my own property. I am putting together the offer to purchase, and having discussed with the seller, there may be the scenario where they may need to stay in the property for a couple months after transfer. We are thus including an occupational rent clause.
My question is - what is a rough guideline to use for that amount? Should it be roughly
- how much I am currently paying for my rent (which I will need to continue to pay if the seller does not move out by the time the transfer happens)
- how much I would need to pay monthly on my bond excl. levies and rates
- how much I would need to pay monthly on my bond incl. levies and rates
Thanks in advance!
