Dr?s discovered a 50y old mitral heart valve implant by dr Chris Barnard still going strong. Why is this good news? Well, I sport an artificial mitral valve, coming up for a 10 year anniversary in April 2020, curtesy of dr Kinsley at Sunninghill hospital. The man is a legend when it comes to heart surgeries, over 15000 of them.
