Hi All,
I am looking for advice for connecting pre-amp that has two sets of unbalanced outputs and one set of balanced, to an active sub that has an LFE input and a R + L Line in. The pre-amp is connected to a power amp with one set of unbalanced outputs. As said, it has balanced out as well but there is only one set with an on/off switch and I'm assuming that I can?t use the balanced with a set of the unbalanced.
My question is, do I run cables from the second set of unbalanced to the L+R inputs of the sub or only one (either L or R) to the LFE input?
Also, if I am running 2, what cable is recommended? I like to DIY cables and would look for Mogami from Max. Maybe a mic cable with two cores and a ground or do I need two separate RCA cables?
Any advice would oblige?
Thanks
