As per my introduction thread, i am terrible with model no.'s, but i actually took the time this morning to note down the model of this amp so i could get your guys advice.
The amp was a hand me down from a family member so im at zero purchase cost - opening balance R0.00
Im particularly interested in using this amp in a retro hifi setup as it has two phono inputs and i have two availble TT's.
Problem is the amp powers up, but has no sound. Completely dead other than the green power indicator staying on.
Firstly is it advisable spending some cash on this amp? I.E is it a good enough amp to revive?
Secondly, what could the problem be?
Thirdly, Anyone in Cape Town i can contact to have the amp looked at?
