Hi everyone. Haven't been on line for a while, firstly, seasons greetings to everyone and I hope that everyone has a great holiday period!
I have a few questions to ask about the performance and settings on my DVD player and I was hoping that some of the experienced guys could help me!
1. My DVD player plays CD's a second later than when they should actually start playing. Any idea what causes this or how do I fix it? Its a DV SP503E model.
(The player is hooked up to my Onkyo Tx SR705 amplifier)
2. Do you need to really worry about the initial settings on the DVD player? I see that you have settings such as Dolby Digital which then allows you choose either Dolby Digital or Dolby Digital - PCM and then the same options are available for DTS. I use this DVD player to play all my music CD's and I just want to ensure that I am getting the optimal sound reproduction. For music, I usually use all channel stereo or stereo for listening purposes and Im not sure if the amp settings overides the DVD initial settings??
I hope that someone can teach me something!
