I am new here and would like to ask your informed opinions.
My plan is to spend R5,500 +- on a decent AV recevier. I like Yamaha as well and the Onkyo.
Next purchase will be decent Floorstanders +- R5,000.
Or should I look at the Boston Acoustics SoundWare XS? About the same price.
I will then in future buy a Sub.
It does not have to be new hence willing to to look at previous models however needs 4 HDMI inputs at least.
Have a large room and 90% of time will be for watching HD TV, blue ray movies and Sport.
I want a decent foundation that I can build on later, does not have to be the latest greatest just good sound.
