1). Is the SLDL1 (linear tracking table) worth its weight and sonically different /better sounding than a conventional deck with a "normal" tonearm ? Does it have inherent issues and can it be trusted with good vinyl, considering that one cannot see the stylus activity or get to the vinyl once the lid is closed and in play?
2). Technics SUV 5 'class A' DC amplifier. Looks great, some nice features like mm/mc option. All metal construction with discrete outputs. Is this worth restoring and how does it fair in the Technics range and compared with other class A DC amplifiers?
