I stopped at Makro today and browsed through the displays on the floor. Went from Samsung series 6 to 8 and then I stopped....
The new LG IPS Smart 4K Super suhd is simply breathtaking. I looked at rhe 65 inch which retailed @ R32909. Compare this to the Samsung Series 7 @ R50000. No contest for me at all. LG hands down the winner. Even my wife told her parents about it. Her words: "wow!"
The colour palette and depth of conttast was simply the best I have seen to date.
Remote can double for a universal remote.
I come from a long line of PC monitors and stopped at the Catleap IPS. It was simply leaps and bounds ahead of any TF panel in picture quality. I was and still am IPS converted. I was waiting for the release of the IPS TVs. LG hit the nail on the head with this one.
The LG will be my next TV. Also at thay price point a no brainer
