Opinions on Smart ForTwo car anyone?

I stumbled upon an interesting YouTube video of a modified Smart ForTwo car. I thought it was really cool, and a possibly interesting project to tackle. It got me wondering what those Smart cars are like in original form. So, my question is: has anyone here driven or owned one of these vehicles? What are they like?
