I wish the authorities in Cape Town would do the same here
The southern suburbs are plastered with these things. All the municipality does is to hire casuals sporadically to scrape the smut off wherever it goes up and we have to pay for that.
The same goes for DSTV/Cockcroach Man/Driving School/Handyman/Carpenter illegal signs tied to any upright pole by the hundreds.
During the past year I've had extensive discussions with the municipality about this free for all and they will not lift a member to discover and prosecute/fine these furtive sign erectors.
