I grew sunflowers to provide seeds for the birds this winter, but now that they've matured I se that all the seeds are empty. The stock came from parrot food, so I assume its a GM issue - plenty of bees and things for pollination in my garden. They grow fine, bear seeds, but the seeds have nothing inside the shell. Does anyone out there know where to get non-GM seeds? I've had a lot of letters of complaint with the recent cold snap and one rather ugly confrontation with a sparrow.
