This is hardly an audiophile matter, but my girlfriend's brother is having his 13th birthday party in about 2 weeks. Having gained the reputation of having a concerningly addictive inclination for audio, I have been appointed has organiser-of-the-sound-stuff.
I'm looking for cheap PA speaker rental in the Southern Suburbs (CPT) - something that will go loud-ish (nothing too fancy, but with a fair amount of grunt). I think that they (the party goers) will be listening to dubstep (bleh!) and the likes, so preferably something with a bit of slam in the lower end.
Does anyone know someone who knows someone?
