Ok. So at my office we use 4x Siemens Gigaset cordless phones, shared between 7 people. They borrow the various phones and carry the stuff around, leaving them at one location, forgetting them there, the battery goes flat, and it just disappears in the great big beyond.

Since most of the calls are to some cell number I would like to see what is the deal with the VOIP stuff, but I know next to nothing about this. We are moving to a larger a larger office next month and the current phones (with a 10 - 12 meter range from the transmitter) will not be able to cover the full area. In essence I need our system upgraded so that each person have a phone (cordless preferably) and the system should be scalable so that I can add phones if need be in the future. Hopefully it will also be something with some sort of extension so that we can transfer the phone calls internally to the correct person.

A problem is that due to historic reasons (long story) we still use an ISDN system. I have the main number (that used to be my home number) and we have 2 other numbers assigned to the ISDN system. Essentially we have two lines. We have been using the one assigned number (linked to the main number) for the last 10 years, and all our clients know that. According to Telkom I will lose the assigned numbers if I give up the ISDN system, so some-how the system must blend in with the ISDN system.

Can anyone please give me some advice on what I can do, as I am at loss on the way forward.
