For those who do not know about Pandora:
They are the inventors of the music genome project.
I've built a few neural networks, and kick myself every day for not thinking of this. I've would have had it made for life!
With this, music is classified by hundreds of "genomes" that attributes to how it sounds, how it makes you feel etc.
It is not just a bunch of songs grouped by genre.
It takes iTunes Genius to a brand new level. iTunes go pack up and go home.
So you select a single band, it plays music that matches that band more or less. Then you click on add variety, and this is where it gets interesting.
It then matches the genomes from the music you selected, and cross reference it with attributes/genomes from the music you just added. It then automatically adds more music that includes the attributes shared between the 2 bands you've selected.
You can add even more music until you have pinpointed our exact musical need.
That is more or less what it does.
Now if you go to pandoras site and register, they will still tell you to get lost. They only serve the yanks.
BUT:
Then came along, Hola Unblocker.
It's a plugin you install on your browser. Currently supports Chrome, and firefox.
If you are using IE, please get with the program, and install an actual internet browser. (refer to the related thread on this forum)
I'm as excited about this as you can be! I've been using it for 2 day, and already discovered more music than I can afford this month!
