I'm currently using a Yamamha RXV 3067 to drive a 5.0 speaker setup.
I'm toiling with the idea of using my old Marantz SR6004 via 7.1channel inputs for amplification for left and right passive subwoofers in a 5.2 system.
As the passive subwoofers will be a project, I would like to know if the Marantz AVR will be suitable in this application before venturing down this avenue?
