I'm just curious as to whether PC sound or vision could EVER outdo a dedicated decent home setup? I got thinking because I'm selliing my DVD player which retails at R2800, and when I asked friends/aquaintances, the one guy told me his R400 video card is better. Worse still, are those guys that have their Creative 5.1 systems and fancy sound cards - and think they're really smart and nothing will touch theres.
Before arguing though - I just need to know what PC sound can actually do ... ?
