I'm getting SO gatvol of this happening to me now! This is now the 3rd time.
Some people are super keen to sell an item, and then pull out at the 11th hour giving whatever excuses. They then promise that if & when they change their minds, they will let you know. A couple months go by so you drop them a PM asking how's the piece of equipment and if they've had a change of heart WRT selling. Then you get told, "Oh I sold that ages ago!" No heads-up that they had finally decided that it was going to be sold, nada.
Not sure if users look at me and think I'm untrustworthy & not going to look after the equipment, you would know none of that is true if you knew me & saw my equipment, but hell be upfront! Don't offer something for sale if you don't intend selling it. Two of the 3 times people actually approached me offering me the items after I posted a wanted ad and we even agreed on all the in's & outs. Then boom, they decide they're going to keep the item, only to sell it to someone else. :walled:
