I have my hands on a nice-looking PL 400 amplifier. It belongs to a friend of my fathers whom bought it new in the 70's. He wants me to give it an overhaul... I would like to twist his arm to sell it to me as he is not using it - and I doubt that he will ever use it as he now got a dreadful Sony 7.1 system doing duty.
All info I get on the internet is that these are very unstable and blows up without warning, taking speakers to audio heaven.
Got the schematic in hand so servicing wont be a nightmare... or at least I dont hope so.
