So my aging Canon bridge camera has been passed on to the previously disadvantaged via affirmative shopping. I'm not a dedicated photographer, so only need a camera for occasional use. Instead of a dedicated digital camera, was thinking of getting a cell phone with a fairly decent camera instead and at the same time enter the 20th. century world of communications, whatsup/tapatalk/internet, etc. At present only use a laptop. The following two phones are available at Makro for R 2k, I don't want to spend more!

Nokia 3,1 and Hisense Infinity E9. Both have similar specs and 13MP front cameras. I'm leaning towards the Hisense, but you don't seem to hear much about Hisense as far as phones go.
Anyone have any thoughts/recommendations or better ideas about this. Appreciate any input!!
