Phono stage kit for Turntable

Quick question for the Turntable experts and DIY kit guys.

Have anyone of you build one of this DIY kits of Communica and Yebo Electronics, and how was the sound of it?

Second question is, can I use a 19V Laptop power supply to power it? The SMART KIT 1023 runs on V 18-24 VDC and the (KIT44S) on between 12v and 24v DC
