Pics not displaying in posts..embedded from facebok

I use a facebook account to store my pics , embed the links in posts .. all of a sardine , without me changing ANYTHING .. the pics dont display...
I have made all my pics public etc.. seems to me that FB has maybe changed the url of the pics?
My later pics DO display , its earlier pics that dont... tried google for a solution , but no joy...
any help ?
