i just ordered some panel lights from RS.
http://za.rs-online.com/web/p/products/237-0317/
i did not pay attention to what i was doing and ordered 110V neon lights.
from what i read, they use anything from .5 to 3MA and need about 90V.
these come with a resistor (i think) to waste the extra voltage.
what i want to know:how sensitive are these lights to over voltage or should i add an extra resistor to make it work?
if i want to waste an extra 120V @2MA i get about 60K ohm.
anybody ever done something similar, is it this easy?
