I bought some hardware today to build my new HTPC. It is not hardcore bleeding edge stuff, but i think it will be able to handle most of my needs.

Case: Antec Fusion Black, with iMon remote and SoundMon LCD Display
MoBo: Intel DP55WB
CPU : intel i3 540 (3.06 ghz)
GPU : Nvidia 9400
MEM: Corsair ddr3 1333mhz (2gb) 9-9-9-9-17 (Not too worried about this latency, since I'm not an over clocker, or gamer)

I have one question though. Will I need to upgrade my sound card or will the built in one do?
It uses the realtec ALC888 codec.

What I have read on a review site is:
ALC888 is a lower-end codec, with 98 dB SNR vs. 106 dB SNR of the top-end ALC889 found in higher-end motherboard

Not sure if I should be concerned over this?
