I have a slightly weird one here that I am trying to figure out.

I picked up a REGA planer 3 with a Mayware FormulaIV MKIII arm on it. The plinth has been drilled with SME 3009 mounting holes (be it 2.5mm off). The Mayware was then mounted on an Acrylic SME adaptor. If I measure from the spindle to the hole, the Mayware was mounted at 217mm. This is odd as everywhere I look the Mayware FormulaIV MKIII is supposed to be mounted at 209mm.

Could it be that for the life of the table (this must be an early planar3 judging by the REGA logo) that the arm has been mounted incorrectly? Am I missing something?

Here is the Mayware manual: http://downloads.nakedresource.com/ve_download_centre/index.php?mayware/mayware_formula_4mk3.pdf
Here is the VE database spec for the arm: http://www.vinylengine.com/library/mayware/formula-iv.shtml

In the VE database they mention a mounting distance of 209mm to 215mm but nowhere in the documentation does it mention any distance other that 209mm for either versions of the FormulaIV arm...

Any insights would be appreciated.
