So I bought the Planar 2 advertised on Gumtree from Branko (Groovy Records in Orange Grove). Nice guy and good looking turntable 
Only thing is, today we set it up for the first time and the 33rpm speed setting is way too slow. 45rpm seems ok and sounds pretty great.
There isn't any obvious way to change the speed on the turntable, so I assume it must be an issue with the motor. Anyone have any tips as to how I might be able to fix this problem?
I don't really want to have to return the turntable as it was a good deal but also don't want to spend another load of cash to repair it.
