Hi Guys,
Did a search and found the same advice here as on other audio forums where they advise to lift the platter with one hand and gently knock the spindle with a rubber or wooden mallet or similar object. Is this the preferred and accepted platter removal method as I also read this method could possibly damage the bearing?
I might be transporting the Garrard 401 soon and would want the platter removed.
