Anyone familiar with Plessey loudspeaker cables and their claim to fame? Picked up 2 x 7m of this cable at the flea market recently. They have no identifying markings. They are beige-coloured and have many fine strands, so are quite flexible. I like to use this type of cable for test leads, so I reckoned what the heck and bought them. The seller seems to think they're special.
Oh-and the "7m" has significance. Apparently a practise is to match the length of each speaker cable precisely to ensure there are no time delays introduced due to different signal path lengths. Now, I did cut off about 1cm so I could see the strands
