Plugging the bushing hole

Some years ago, fdlsys advised:

If you go for the turn on the side, then... :
Take the counterweight (and all other removable weights too) and the headshell (if removable) off the arm, just in case, and secure the arm in the holder with a wire-wrap.
Plug the bushing hole so that the oil doesn't drip all over.

All great advice.
Tonight I had to turn a Thorens TD125 over to fix a problem...
My question: How do you plug the bushing hole? What are the tips and tricks?
I lost all my spindle oil and had to re-lubricate...

PS. I was disappointed that once again (like so many others) this TP16 arm had lost its "top cap", and also that the table could not engage 45rpm. Imagine my surprise, and delight, and astonishment, when I found the arm "top cap" inside the table, jammed in the speed change mechanism, and preventing 45rpm from being engaged! Two problems solved in one...  :2thumbs:
