Polarity check

Hi guys

A novice's question, no doubt.  I am battling with getting the polarity right on my speaker cables on my 7.1 HT system.  I googled this issue and the most common option is to use a battery to check the polarity but it requires you to be able to see the woofers etc which I cannot do on my B&W M1's.  Where do I get an accurate and hopefully inexpensive device to check the polarity to ensure Im connecting correctly?
