Hi Guys,
Before I blow up my amp, is the Polk Rti A5 biampable? Its a little confusing because:
Any body tried biamping these before?
I've got an itch to biamp them. No real need, just an itch. But (really big but) I'm worried that they just stuffed a dual binding post on the unit (cheaper than varying their production lines) and the posts are somehow still connected inside or the speaker doesn't have the circuitry to support biamping. It will probably rank as one of the stupidest and riskiest designs ever if it is the case.

Before I blow up my amp, is the Polk Rti A5 biampable? Its a little confusing because:
- It has dual 5 way binding posts with a metal clip that you can remove between them; and
- Polk's own website doesn't say whether it is biampable or not. See the link below under tech specs. They clearly state that the A7 and A9 are biampable but avoids it under the A5
