Saw something very interesting in Dischem the other day. They sell incandescent lamps marked "refrigerator bulb". Upon closer inspection, the lamp's rating is 120V, 40W. Makes one wonder, hey? They probably got them dirt cheap from some Chinese supplier and they never bothered to check the suitability for local use. By the way, it costs R 12.95 for this "refrigerator lamp". Let's hope it is fused internally, as at 220V it will probably fail spectacularly within a very short time.
