hi.im upgrading my ht setup and now need to get an amp +/- power amp for a full boston setup with boston vr3s(250watt) as main speakers.ive sort of decided on the marantz sr7002 (110 watt by 7)and was wondering about the options to increase the power.
(1) power amplifier - would the addition of a power amplifier negate  the 110 wpc - in other words if i added a power amplifier that is 150 wpc would the speaker receive only the 150 wpc or the cumulative total i.e 110 + 150 = 260wpc.
if not, is there a away that the cumulative effect can be achieved.,
(2) bi amping - ive been told by the dealers that the  marantz sr7002 has a bi-amp function -(speaker c)- does this mean that the main speakers can receive 110 * 2 = 220 watts whilst utilising a 7.1 setup or are you limited to a 5.1 setup?

thanking you in anticipation.
