Dear knowledgeable folk
I have 2 B&W subs. Each sub itself does not have an on/off switch on it, only a "auto" and "on" option. "Auto" will bring the sub out of sleep when a signal is detected and will return it to sleep when no signal is detected for 5 mins (sub LED light is red in sleep and green in active). Currently I have both powered off at the wall plug when not in use. The plugs are behind the AV plasma stand and easy enough to reach. I am making some changes to said plasma cabinet housing the equipment which will result in the plugs not being within easy reach any more.
Question:
With the wall plugs not within easy access any more, I will need another way of cutting the power to the subs. The subs uses a normal "kettle cord" like so:
Is it possible to have an inline power switch added to such a power cable, something like this:
Or is there another option?
