Mods, please move if in the wrong section.
I am looking for something to provide surge protection an AC line filtering for my stereo setup. The new stuff Isotek, Furutech all seems hectic expensive, considering that all my system is built around used bargains. My electronics to filter include:
Rega turntable - modded P3, but not yet the newer 24V motor
Crane Audio MM phono - non switch mode PSU
Rega phono mini - switch mode PSU
Maverick Audio DAC
Valve Audio Exclame
Media Centre PC
On the same switch board that this kit is powered from, I run an 18000 BTU aircon, and I hear clicks as the compressor starts/stops.
Saw some power conditioner items in the classifieds, but it has no surge protection, and no power cables to my gear. Plus, the power cables seem more expensive than the power filtering/distribution unit!
Any ideas?
