Ladies and gentlemen, the purpose of this question is to improve my own knowledge about audio and i wpuld like to apologise in advance  for those who may feel offended by this qusetion.  An audio monobloc amplifier's power output  is rated at 1000/2000/4000 watts continous into 4/2/1 ohms with the same level of distortion into at the same frequency range and is connected to a sub with a nominal impedance of 4 ohms and with dual voice coils that can be configured for 2 or 8  ohms operation when connections in parallel or series. The sub has handling a power handling capacity of 2000 watts continous into 4 ohms or 3000 watts peak. Which configuration(series or parallell)  is going to result in more loudness?
