this is a comment from the wanted section of the classifieds, and i needed to bring this into discussion :
"It is not possible to buy a proper 200w continues amp for that kind of money (R4-5k). Maybe one that can do it for a few seconds or so"
my response was that a rotel 991 sells for around that much on the forums and is 200w/ch into 8ohm <0.03% thd, 20-20000Hz.
so then my question, what do these figures actually mean if the continuous power output isn't actually continuous, apparently? :thinking:
