I use a Rotel RSP1572 which is a very capable processor for both movies and music but I'm wondering if I can get better music playback by getting a preamp with HT bypass and integrating it into my setup. On 2nd thoughts I'm wondering if instead of a preamp I should get a good DAC and play stereo via stereo bypass on my processor.
Which ild the 2 routes would you recommend and why?
