Sorry Im splitting off the main thread.... just worried about the "dress code" being displayed there.
Some arrangements:
1) Dress Code - NONE. Im going to be in a TShirt, Rugby pants and barefoot. Please Please feel free to be as casual as you want. Its warm and I am the most relaxed person you will ever meet
Its a braai too so dressing warm will NOT be a good idea
2) I am buying Red/White wine and some "neutral" beer, Anything like Whiskey/Brandy etc, bring if you want please. There will be ice, mix, glasses etc!
3) If you want to bring something to show and play for anybody else, PLEASE bring it along! As we are going to be listening in a group of 5-8 some might be "bored" and can have fun listening to other stuff!! Hell even watch TV.
3.1) There are 3 systems (ok 4, but it wont be connected). Johan's system in his big room. Kappa 9's with Wadia CD but only Rotel amp. It CANNOT be heard anywhere, totally isolated from rest of the house
3.2) I have a Quad 2905 system in my "appartment " with MF KW550. ALSO cannot be heard anywhere else.
4) If you want anything other than fillet/rump/wors, please bring it along or tell me, Ill buy it. Just in case Im buying some chicken.
5) As you can guess parking is INTERESTING. The guys that are going to stay till late. Ill park you inside the garages and front of garrages. You will be slightly parked in. Im arranging with neighbours so we will get them all in. We HAVE to park close together. But park as if you want to squeeze in a long lost girfriend ^-^ ^-^ . There WILL be a guard and as bad as it sounds a lot of guys will be armed :O0:. Dont worry, we are not hillbillies and start shooting bottles etc
6) We HAVE to decide on the demo songs! ANY suggestions
7) We WILL play a little bit of vinyl... its worth it!! JAZZY - something from you please!
8) MOST important. This is a commune, meaning you open the fridge, take whatever you want and eat and drink. PLEASE act as if it is your place! There are no off-limit places.
9) I have 5 bathrooms, 4 in rooms. As there are no woman, you unfortunately wont walk into a "delicate" situation, please use any!! I have a big field also if all 5 are occupied :tongue:
10) We officially start at 11. but arrive when you want to.
