I am looking into projectors again and wanted to find out what you guys think. I am not sure what I should be spending or looking at. I will give you an idea of what my room is like and what I will use it for.
It will not be a dedicated home theatre room, but my lounge, have quite good lighting control but will probably only use the projector at night. the room is +- 5m x 5m with 3m ceilings. I will use it for +- 60% HD movies and 30% sport (DSTV), 10% gaming( maybe a bit more?. I have been looking at the Benq W1070, the Optoma HD25e and the Epson range. I am worried that I will see the rainbows with DLP but will try go do a demo before I buy.
P.S. I am in Durban so can anybody recommend somewhere to go and check out some of these projectors, and maybe recommend others and give me your opinions of what projectors you have. Also maybe the +- price I am looking at.
