I have been planning a residential property investment for a while but I think I may be going in the wrong direction.
I'm talking in the R1-2 m capital value with R500k cash.
The resedential idea is to buy a 800m2 plot and build 2 3 bedroom units on it. I can build for "cheap" as I manage a general contracting company.
The industrial option would be a property to run my business from and sublet a portion of it. It would save me from a R17k and escalating rental bill where Im currently based.
Im sure I know the answer but lets hear.
