There has been some very colorful people in the South African audio history- some who have made massive contributions to promoting the hobby - in many cases for the enjoyment of others.
I would love know, how some of their products can be "protected/safeguarded" for posterity purposes. Occasionally you can see some of the products re-circulate on the forum. Hopefully still original and intact.
Maybe we should consider creating a "distributed owner" museum of sorts as one person simply cannot be the guardian of all.
Some items that could qualify are:
a) https://www.avforums.co.za/index.php/topic,87414.0.html
b) Some of Daan's amps
c) Certain of Valve Audio landmark products
d) Famous local kits - there were wonderful Seas kits and Geco's kits.
I love to see these heirlooms in safe hands.
