This item has been sitting in a corner for a few years.
The lid needs a bit of TLC, suffering from age and possible damp at some stage in it's history, but thankfully only cosmetic.
Record player is a BSR Monarch unit, with record changer. It sits on springs in recesses let into the box. looks to be in good condition,
the retaining clamp for the arm still has the original rubber cover.
Is it stereo? I have no idea, but speakers either side hint at this.
The innards look original, no serious upclose inspection has been done to verify though.
Definitely a PYE, judging by the branding.
An ideal candidate for a restoration project, I don't have the time or skills to do it justice, but perhaps a forum member would like to have a go...
